Pray for Los Angeles 2008 is a multi-faceted event to raise awareness of the power of prayer, to encourage community outreach and to strengthen and unify the body Christ both spiritually and physically through a range of different activities and venues.
The Pray for L.A. 2008 BringLife event has something for everybody!
- Promoting Prayer among local church partners in concert with National Day of Prayer (May 1st), and Global Day of Prayer (May 11th) observances.
- Pastor's Prayer Summit, Serra Retreat, Malibu, CA (May 6th and 7th)
- Community Outreach and Service activities throughout the L.A. Basin (May 2 to 11)
- The 2nd Pray for LA 5K Trail Run/Fitness Walk through the Hansen Dam Recreation Area, Lakeview Terrace, CA (Sat, May 3d, 9:00 am)
- Corporate Celebrations of Praise and Worship (Sunday, May 4th and May 11th)
